Arise is a United Prayer Movement birthed out of a continued prayer by a group of pastors and prayer intercessors in this area who prayed over 40+ years on a weekly basis for God to bring churches across New England to come together to pray and seek God for a spiritual awakening in this region. Arise unites the body of Christ to seek a move of God in this region. We do this by creating opportunities for the body of Christ, pastors, leaders and their congregations to come together for prayer, worship, and build relationships. Our vision is to release revival into individuals, churches, communities and beyond.

The mission for Arise is to bring like-minded Christian believers from various church backgrounds and denominations together for a time of prayer and worship as an expression of unity in the body of Christ, and an opportunity to seek God to advance His Kingdom and a fresh outpouring of His Spirit in the New England region.

Arise conducts prayer gatherings twice annually to empower, encourage, refresh, refuel, inspire and strengthen God's people, and to build a great network to fulfill God's purpose and take ground in the Kingdom of God. This is a great opportunity for you to enjoy the fellowship of like-minded Christian believers and leaders, and to encourage one another through friendship and testimony! You don't want to miss this great opportunity to spend time with amazing Christian believers who believe in prayer and expect great things from God for this region.

We call on Christian believers, pastors, ministers of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus, and church leaders for an exciting new gathering in 2026 in Connecticut, to come together for a united time of prayer and worship!

It is very important that participating churches and organizations invite their congregations to participate. The purpose of the service is to bring believers together to seek God and pray for our region. ARISE will provide promotional materials that can be shared. We desire to see unity in the body of Christ as we seek God for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit in our region.

Please prayerfully consider participating in the upcoming ARISE prayer and worship gatherings on Thursday, September 17^th at Bridge Community Church in Bristol, CT, and Friday, September 18^th at Seaport Community Church in Groton, CT. This year's theme is CHRIST ALONE (Colossians 1:18). This is a great opportunity to gather with fellow Christian believers, church leaders, and pastors from other churches in this region, to spend time in worship and prayer, and to share the good news of salvation with our local communities. Pastors and leaders from local churches are invited to lead a prayer segment during the service and to invite their congregants to participate.

We believe that God loves unity! These gatherings provide a unique opportunity for the body of Christ to come together to seek His face and intercede for our region. If you have additional questions, feel free to contact us at arise.to.pray@gmail.com

Many of the most notable moves of God throughout Scripture and history have been preceded by a gathering of God's people in one place in agreement to seek God's face. We encourage you to prayerfully consider being a part of this great prayer movement. We proclaim God's Word over our nation, churches, organizations, leaders, families, and the youth of today. We pray that you will encourage the members of your congregation to participate, and to invite their families and friends as well. We wish to call out to our God fervently with one united voice of praise and prayers of supplication, that the Lord would visit us in a mighty way and bring His Kingdom's light to our region, state, nation, and the world.

The longest recorded prayer of Jesus is called, , The High Priestly Prayer. On the eve of the crucifixion, Jesus interceded for His people. Jesus prayed for our sanctification, unity, and ultimate heavenly blessedness. This prayer was prayed for all believers, for all times, and is found in the Gospel of John, chapter 17. Our unity as believers comes from our participation in the unity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit through the bond of perfect love.

As Christian believers, we are commanded to bring our concerns and cares of this world to Him in prayer. We need each other more than ever. Arise gatherings are held twice a year — in the spring and in the fall. Come and experience an awesome time of fellowship, worship, and prayer.
