Matt Harper

Matt Harper, General Manager of WIHS 104.9 FM Christian radio based at 1933 South Main Street. The non-profit, commercial-free station has been on the air "live and local" 24/7 since 1969, broadcasting a mix of music, preaching, teaching, news and public affairs programming. The station employs over 20 Connecticut residents. Its call letters stand for "We're In His Service."

Mr. Harper has been with WIHS since 2019, serving as an on-air announcer, show producer, and Community Outreach Coordinator. He is an ordained minister with an extensive educational background, including a B.A. in Pastoral Communication and an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Northland International University in Dunbar, Wisconsin; a Master of Divinity from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa; and a Master of Public Administration from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
