Pastor Annie Wilder

Dr. Wilder is an author, ordained gospel minister and frequent presenter and workshop facilitator at women’s retreats, churches and conferences. She is the pastor of the All Souls Prayer Chapel Ministries of Old Saybrook, CT. She is the founder of the Uncommon Counseling LLC - Counseling practice focusing on the whole person – body, soul and spirit. She facilitates weekly positive self-esteem/domestic violence support groups for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
She is also the host of the Dr. Annie B. Wilder Radio Show, broadcasted on Monday mornings at 11AM. Her segment, “The Dr. Annie B. Wilder Personal Enrichment Corner” is featured under the First Church of Old Saybrook YouTube channel. Her published books: On the Other Side of Bitter and Interrupted to BE, like her many endeavors are filled with practical and insightful teachings resulting in personal empowerment.
Dr. Wilder has been an active member of Arise since the Fall of 2018. She was honored during the 2019 “Power to Exhale Women’s Conference” for Spiritual Guidance and Mentorship.
Dr. Wilder earned a Doctorate of Philosophy from Jacksonville Theological Seminary, Masters Degrees in Industrial Engineering and Community Psychology from the University of New Haven and a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Sacred Heart University. She holds certifications in the areas of Temperament Counseling, Pastoral Counseling, Death and Grief Therapy, Cognitive Therapy and Crisis and Abuse Therapy. Before retiring Dr. Wilder worked as a Manufacturing Engineer. She is a great grandmother and resides in Old Saybrook, CT.
